UF Health Rehab Center - Norman Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases is a multidisciplinary clinic specializing in the evaluation and treatment of persons with neurological disorders.

We provide occupational therapy, physical therapy, speech language pathology and swallow evaluations. We have eight Centers of Excellence which demand high levels of staff competence and quality patient care.

Our clinical focus is on providing education and treatment for those with Parkinson’s disease, concussion, brain injury, memory disorders, ALS, muscular dystrophy, essential tremor, multiple sclerosis, ataxia, tics and Tourette’s. We work closely with neurology, neuropsychology, psychiatry, neurosurgery, nutrition and social work to provide a comprehensive patient-centered approach to care. Our therapists collaborate in research leading to improved care and quality of life for those living with neurological disorders.
