Two researchers in the college have received 2009 Opportunity Funds Awards

Two researchers in the college have received 2009 Opportunity Funds Awards from the UF Division of Sponsored Research. Hendrik Luesch, Ph.D., an assistant professor of medicinal chemistry, received $86,000 for his research, "In vivo target identification and antitumor efficacy of novel anticancer agents." Sihong Song, Ph.D., an associate professor of pharmaceutics, received $80,000 for his research, "Alpha 1 antitrypsin for treatment of lupus."
