Biography
Celine Cattier, MD, serves as the Pediatric Palliative Care medical director for the UF Health Palliative Care Program. She studied French Literature at Cornell University and later earned her medical degree from Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit. She completed residency training in pediatrics at Children's Hospital of Michigan in Detroit where she also served as chief resident. She went on to complete a fellowship in pediatric palliative care at Akron Children's Hospital in Akron, Ohio.
She is board certified in pediatrics and pediatric hospice and palliative medicine. Most recently, she worked as a Pediatric Palliative Care physician at Arnold Palmer Medical Center in Orlando prior to joining the team at UF. Her research interests and presentations have included topics relating to oncology, grief support for children, perinatal palliative care, and advanced pain management. In her free time she enjoys running, cooking, exploring local restaurants, spending time outside and traveling.
