Maggie Dungey recently joined UF Health’s marketing team after graduating cum laude from the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications in 2022, where she majored in public relations. As a marketing specialist at UF Health, she assists with marketing and communication activities for the department of surgery, among other service lines.

Before joining, she was a project coordinator at The Agency at UF, partnership coordinator at TEDxUF and interned for Binstock Media Group, where she served on the marketing team creating content surrounding mental health topics. There, she started her own column “Gen Z POV,” which shines a youthful lens on mental health and the transition to adulthood.

Maggie was born and raised in Chicago and loves to travel. Some of her favorite places she has visited are Hawaii, China and Switzerland. In her free time, she enjoys fueling her passions of fashion, art and photography.
