Frequently asked questions

Available services

Are interpretive services available?

We offer language interpretation via audio. See the list of available langauges. We are also able to provide American Sign Language (ASL) interpretive services. Please schedule your doctor’s appointment at least three days in advance to guarantee availability of an ASL video interpreter.

Connecting to your appointment

I am logged into Zoom and am waiting for the host to join, am I the host?

The physician is the host and you are waiting for the physician to log into the visit. Once the physician logs in, they will start the visit.

I have been logged into Zoom for a while and I received an error saying “Invalid Meeting ID” or “Click the button to leave the room.”

Please leave the room and log back into the meeting using the link or personal meeting ID you have been given.

I am receiving an “Error 500” through MyUFHealth while trying to start the visit.

Please call UF Health Telehealth Technical Support at 352.265.8006.

I have an appointment through MyUFHealth, but the button is greyed out and I cannot enter the visit.

The button to join the telehealth visit is greyed out until 10 minutes before the appointment. You can join when it is 10 minutes before your appointment.

I am trying to download Zoom and received a message saying that I need to change my pop-up blocker settings and the visit is not loading.

You need to disable your pop-up blocker to allow Zoom to download. If you do not know how to disable your pop-up blocker, please call UF Health Telehealth Technical Support at 352.265.8006.

I did not receive a Zoom link for my visit in the email I was sent.

Please call the clinic your visit is scheduled with and ask for a Zoom link for your visit.

I am trying to connect to my visit through MyUFHealth on my phone’s internet browser, but I am getting an error such as “invalid IP” or “connection cannot be established” or “network cannot be found”.

For visits through MyUFHealth on a phone, you must download the MyChart app from the app store and open the visit through the app.

I am trying to sign into Zoom with a username and password, but it is giving me an error.

You do not need to sign into Zoom for your visit. If you have downloaded Zoom, click the link you were emailed (or click “Begin Visit” in MyUFHealth if your visit is set up through MyUFHealth) and you should automatically be taken to the physician’s waiting room.
