About me

Biography Pediatric neurologist Randy Williamson, MD, has received specialized training to diagnose and treat disorders that affect the brain, spinal cord, muscle and nerves. His special interest is epilepsy. Dr. Williamson is dedicated to providing children with high-quality, compassionate care, and he has extensive experience in neurological diagnosis, treatment and patient care.

Dr. Williamson is a fellowship-trained pediatric neurologist, and he is board-certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology with special qualifications in child neurology and epilepsy. Dr. Williamson has served as a faculty member in pediatric neurology and epilepsy at Vanderbilt University and Children’s Hospital of Arkansas. He has presented his research at the American Epilepsy Society, and he was an active volunteer of the Epilepsy Foundation of Central and South Texas. Dr. Williamson comes to Pensacola from the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley School of Medicine, where he served as the director of the division of child neurology.

Dr. Williamson is employed by the University of Florida and practices at Ascension Sacred Heart in Pensacola.
