Participant Recruitment Resources

Several resources are available to help UF researchers recruit participants for IRB-approved research studies.

  • CTSI Recruitment Center:
    Offering consultations and services to assist with increasing access to community and special populations, optimizing the recruitment and retention of participants and engaging effective recruitment methods and materials.
  • HealthStreet:
    A team of UF community health workers who connect Alachua County residents to opportunities to participate in research as well as to medical and social services.
  • Institute on Aging Recruitment, Adherence and Retention Core:
    Services to support recruitment, including development and implementation of recruitment strategies, monitoring and reporting recruitment progress, and development of recruitment materials.
  • ResearchMatch.org:
    Access via the UF Clinical and Translational Science Institute to a national registry of volunteers willing to learn about opportunities to participate in research.
  • UF Age Network:
    Human subjects recruitment support for faculty in supported units.
  • UFHealth.org Study Listing
    A central IRB-approved resource for listing UF clinical research studies that are seeking volunteers (maintained by the UF Clinical and Translational Science Institute).
