Dolwick's article among top 100 cited

M. Franklin Dolwick, D.M.D., Ph.D., a professor of oral and maxillofacial surgery and director of hospital dentistry for Shands at UF, in 1980 submitted an article with four collaborators to the American Journal of Roentgenology. The article, titled “Arthrotomography of the Temporomandibular Joint,” has since become one of the top 100 articles cited over the journal’s 100-year history of scientific reporting on medical imaging—swinging in at no. 78 with a total of 178 citations. The achievement was celebrated last month in the centennial issue of AJR, the journal of the American Roentgen Ray Society.
