Ellis receives a two-year grant for $90,000

Dorette Ellis, Ph.D., an assistant professor in the department of pharmacodynamics, has received a two-year grant for $90,000 from the American Health Assistance Foundation’s National Glaucoma research program. She examines nitric oxide’s role in regulating intraocular pressure in the human eye. High intraocular pressure causes glaucoma, a leading cause of blindness in the world.
