Harwood-Nuss named associate dean of educational affairs for UF’s Jacksonville campus
Dr. Ann L. Harwood-Nuss recently was promoted to associate dean of educational affairs for the University of Florida College of Medicine’s urban campus in Jacksonville.
Harwood-Nuss, who served four years as assistant dean, will continue to direct the college’s graduate medical education programs on the Jacksonville campus. She also will have an expanded role in undergraduate and continuing medical education.
Her promotion is part of the college’s effort to further integrate the Gainesville and Jacksonville campuses. She will report directly to Dr. Robert T. Watson, the College of Medicine’s senior associate dean for educational affairs.
Harwood-Nuss, a professor in the department of emergency medicine, joined UF in 1981. She also has chaired the Institutional Committee for Graduate Medical Education since 1992.
