Morgan N Ransom



Morgan Ransom graduated from the University of Florida in 2018 with a Master’s degree in Counselor Education and a Specialization in Mental Health Counseling. She completed her internship with UF Health Psychology in 2020. She is passionate about her clinical work with eating disorders. She is humanistic in nature and believe that every patient has the insight to recover from their disorder when given the space to process their inner struggles. She draws from a Cognitive Behavioral therapeutic approach and focuses on being present with patients as they develop a better understanding of their authentic self. She connects with patients by understanding the function that the disorder serves in their lives while collaboratively developing alternative coping strategies that align with their treatment goals.
