Dr. Waxenberg is a Board Certified Clinical Professor in the Department of Clinical and Health Psychology.  She specializes in working with people who experience chronic pain and chronic illness by using behavioral interventions such as relaxation, meditation, activity pacing, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy to help cope with pain and discomfort and to improve quality of life.
