About me
Hello, I'm Kim Knight, an Occupational Therapist and Certified Hand Therapist at UF Health. I earned my Bachelor’s degree in Health Science from the University of Florida, followed by a Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from the same institution.
My commitment to excellence is exemplified by my certification as a hand therapist by the Hand Therapy Certification Commission, specializing in hand and upper extremity rehabilitation. My journey into occupational therapy began during my time volunteering at an elementary school in the special education classroom. It was there that I first encountered the transformative power of occupational therapy, and as I delved deeper into the profession throughout college, I knew it was the perfect fit for me.
Driven by a genuine desire to make a difference in people's lives, my goal as an occupational therapist is to empower individuals to regain as normal a function as possible in their upper extremities.
Beyond my professional pursuits, I am a proud parent and enjoy pickleball, golf and reading.
