Katherine L Gray-Lingis, AuD

Hello, I'm Dr. Katherine Gray-Lingis. My passion for helping patients improve their communication and quality of life through hearing devices started during my undergraduate years at the University of Florida, when I studied Audiology. It was through my studies that I became particularly fascinated with cochlear implants and their potential to transform lives. Witnessing the advancements in cochlear implant technology over the years has only deepened my commitment to this field.

At the University of Florida, I earned my Doctor of Audiology in 2004 after completing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Sciences and Disorders in 2000. Today, I am the audiology manager of the UF Health Audiology Department and also provide patient care in our clinic, the UF Health Hearing Center. At the core of my practice is patient-centered care. I always prioritize the needs of my patients, striving to provide them with the best possible outcomes. Collaboration is key and I believe in working as a team with other physicians and colleagues to ensure a comprehensive and interdisciplinary approach to care.

My dedication to Audiology extends beyond the clinic. Through my commitment to staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in the field, I currently serve as a member of the American Speech-Language-Hearing Association, and I actively engage in ongoing learning and professional development.

Outside of my professional endeavors, I am blessed with a loving family — a supportive husband and three wonderful children. Their presence enriches my life beyond measure and I cherish every moment spent with them. You'll often find me cheering on my children at their various sporting events, whether it's volleyball, baseball, softball or golf.

In all aspects of my life, whether it's in my career, with my family or pursuing personal interests, my goal remains the same — to make a positive impact and improve the lives of those around me.
