Biography

Justin T. Deen, M.D. is a fellowship-trained, board-certified orthopedic surgeon who serves as an assistant professor for the division of arthroplasy and adult reconstruction. Dr. Deen was born and raised in Orlando, FL and received his undergraduate education from UF. He then received his medical degree from Florida State University where he was elected to both the Alpha Omega Alpha National Medical Honor Society and Arnold P. Gold Humanism in Medicine Society. After completing his residency in orthopaedic surgery at UF, he completed his fellowship in adult arthroplasty/reconstructive surgery at the University of Florida. Dr. Deen’s clinical focus is on lower extremity joint replacement and reconstruction. This includes partial knee replacement, total knee replacement, and total hip replacement, including muscle sparing direct anterior total hip replacement surgery. He also performs complex hip and knee replacement, as well as revision surgery. Dr. Deen is a member of several national organizations including the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons, American Orthopedic Association, and the American Association of Hip and Knee Surgeons.
