Inside our bodies, a healthy heart looks almost the same. However, womens hearts have slight anatomical differences that put them at risk for different heart-related issues. Heart disease is the No. 1 cause of death of women in the United States. Its important to be aware of your risk factors. Our female-focused cardiologists are here to help you live your heart healthiest life possible. Hear from Lynda Otalvaro-Orzoco, MD, FACC, from UF Health Cardiology at Springhill, during this live event. Attendees can ask questions, via the Zoom Q/A feature, during the live event. There will also be a short demonstration from Elizabeth Warren, A.D.N., R.N., RCIS, UF Health STEMI coordinator, about how hands-only CPR or an AED could help save a life.
