Unmasked: the Meaning of Me Art Exhibit
Please join UF Health Shands Arts in Medicine in celebrating original works created by adolescent girls incarcerated at a detention facility in Alachua County. Facilitated by AIM Artist in Residence Alana Jackson, art group participants meet weekly to engage in literary, performing and visual arts. This powerful collection of mixed media self-portraits is in conjunction with a parallel UF Creative B exhibit currently on display at the Harn Museum of Art. This event is free and open to all, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm.
More exhibit information is available on the Arts in Medicine website.
