Description

This CME program is designed to improve the knowledge, competence and performance of healthcare providers engaged in the care of patients with cerebrovascular diseases. The goal of the program is to reduce the gap between current evidence and existing practice in stroke care as well as review the most recent clinical trials that impact patient care algorithms and practices. This conference will focus on science, technology and practical applications in order to equip participants with the tools needed to deliver high quality, evidence-based, patient centered stroke care. Speakers include internationally recognized stroke experts offering specialized topics that cover stroke care across the continuum. Topics include pre-hospital and ED assessment, acute stroke care, neuro-imaging and endovascular therapies, ntracranial and subarachnoid hemorrhages, nursing and interdisciplinary stroke care. Further specialized topics include neuro critical care and the seven major risk factors for heart disease and stroke.
