Description

Join us for a Huntingtons Disease (HD) Education Day for patients and caregivers.

Huntingtons disease is a rare, genetic disorder that breaks down nerve cells in the brain which impacts movement, thinking and reasoning skills. While HD does not currently have a cure, therapies and care options are available to manage life with Huntingtons disease.

Learn more about managing life with HD, emerging research and therapies, and services and care options available for people living with HD. Participants will also have the opportunity to directly speak with clinicians, researchers, social workers, geneticists, rehab staff and more during an ask the experts panel. The event is free, but registration is required. To register, please contact Alana McKay, LCSW at alana.mckay@neurology.ufl.edu Presented by Huntington's Disease Center of Excellence at the Normal Fixel Institute for Neurological Diseases at UF Health.
