Cancer is a complex and varied disease. It can begin anywhere in the body and spread for reasons that are not yet understood. Even the same kind of cancer can behave differently from one patient to the next.

With a disease so unpredictable, it takes a team of dedicated physicians, surgeons, scientists and educators to discover how to treat each unique Newsweek Health has included the following 11 cancer physicians in its list of “Top Cancer Doctors 2015” for the United States.
