About me
Dr. Gushiken joined the UF Division of Infectious Diseases & Global Medicine in 2021 as an Assistant Professor of Medicine. She received her BS from the University of California, Davis, followed by her MD from Ross University School of Medicine. Dr. Gushiken then went on to complete residency in Internal Medicine at Virginia Tech Carilion in Roanoke, VA, and a fellowship in Infectious Diseases at the University of Maryland Medical Center in Baltimore, MD. She has interest in antimicrobial resistance, One Health, zoonotic infections, and emerging infectious diseases.
